Anthropic embeds Claude directly into Adobe, Autodesk, and other creative software
Anthropic has released connectors that integrate its Claude assistant into eight professional creative platforms, allowing designers, musicians, and video editors to work without switching between applications.
The connectors work with Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk Fusion, Blender, Affinity Designer, Ableton Live, Resolume Arena, SketchUp, and Splice. Claude can now access tools within these applications to handle specific tasks tied to each platform's workflow.
What Claude can do in each tool
- Adobe Creative Cloud: Claude accesses roughly 50 tools across Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Express for in-app assistance.
- Autodesk Fusion: Users create and modify 3D models through conversational prompts.
- Blender: Claude adds natural-language access to Blender's Python API, letting users analyze scenes, build custom tools, and search documentation.
- Affinity Designer: Claude automates repetitive tasks and generates custom features for specific workflows.
- SketchUp: Users describe an idea to generate a 3D model, then refine it within the app.
- Ableton Live: Claude queries official documentation for the music production software.
- Resolume Arena and Resolume Wire: Claude provides natural-language control of live visual performance tools.
- Splice: Music producers search the platform's royalty-free sample library using Claude.
Anthropic also joined the Blender Development Fund as a corporate patron and worked with Blender developers to create an official MCP connector for Claude.
Part of a broader push into creative work
The integrations follow Anthropic's introduction of Claude Design earlier this month, a research preview tool that generates professional presentations, marketing materials, and documents from text prompts.
