Architecture practitioners explore agentic AI for design and construction workflows
Architects and builders met to discuss how AI tools could fit into design and construction work, and how to align them with professional standards.
The American Institute of Architects New York chapter convened a series of workshops examining the role of agentic artificial intelligence in architecture, engineering, construction, and operations. The sessions brought practitioners together to assess how these tools might fit into design and construction workflows.
The event highlighted a growing interest in practical applications of agentic AI across the building industry. Discussions also focused on the need to connect ongoing experimentation with established professional standards and project accountability.
