BiltData launches AI sales platform for construction equipment dealers that ranks buyers and tracks deals

BiltData launched an updated AI sales platform for construction equipment dealers and OEMs that ranks buyers, maps rental and service demand, and tracks deals through a closed-loop forecasting system. The release shifts commercial teams away from incomplete public financing records toward a predictive model that surfaces high-value accounts and measures win rates at every pipeline stage.

Ranking high-value accounts over public records

Commercial teams traditionally rely on UCC filings to find buyers, but those records capture roughly a third of actual purchasers and skew toward smaller businesses. BiltData scores every buyer and renter in a territory by purchase likelihood, credit quality, fleet value, and competitive position. Opportunities pulled from the platform convert four to six times more often than leads drawn from public records. Nearly 95 percent of those prospects carry top-tier credit, compared with roughly a quarter of businesses surfaced by traditional filings.

About one in five buyers accounts for three-quarters of equipment spending. Placing that concentrated list at the top of the funnel gives reps a clear weekly priority instead of chasing whoever calls in.

Instrumenting the funnel and closing the loop

Most sales tools just organize existing company data. This platform pours scored opportunities into the top of the funnel and then tracks each deal from first contact to quote to won or lost. Reps log calls, visits, and proposals while the system records participation rates, coverage rates, and market share. Won and lost outcomes feed back into the algorithm, sharpening next week's rankings and next quarter's forecast.

GT&E, a John Deere construction dealer in Pennsylvania, matched recent quotes back to the scored model and found they could boost participation with their highest-converting buyer tier. "What BiltData allows us to do is look beyond those limitations, identify the customers that truly matter, and prioritize them from the start. Even more importantly, we're able to track every step of the process-from the first conversation all the way through the sale. That visibility gives us real data to make better decisions, improve how we sell, and move from reacting to predicting outcomes," said Matthew Pixler, senior vice president of sales at GT&E.

Compressing ramp time and unifying customer views

A thin sales bench and slow onboarding plague many territories. New reps usually spend months learning a region before hitting quota. The platform compresses that timeline by giving every rep a ranked list of the highest-value buyers in their area, complete with fleet size, brand signals, and replacement cycles. Managers get a live dashboard showing which prospects each rep contacted, how far each opportunity moved, and where deals stall.

The system also merges equipment sales, project rentals, and parts demand into a single account view. Construction firms rarely buy machines in isolation. They rent gear for specific jobs and require ongoing maintenance. Mapping projects by location, stage, and contractor reveals revenue streams that financing records miss. Teams using these tools often pair them with broader AI for Sales workflows to automate outreach and track engagement metrics.

Sales managers can extend the same logic to team oversight by exploring structured AI for Sales Managers training that covers pipeline analytics and coaching frameworks.

Why this matters for Sales professionals

Reps stop guessing which accounts to call and start working a ranked list of credit-qualified buyers with active fleet replacement cycles. Managers replace quarterly guesswork with weekly participation and close-rate data, turning broad market-share targets into specific call objectives. The platform proves that prioritizing high-value prospects early in the funnel increases win rates, shortens ramp time for new hires, and gives leaders a reliable forecast before the quarter ends.
