W3 Launches AI Finance Control Platform on Avalanche With 200K Daily Workflows
W3 has launched a control platform on the Avalanche network designed to manage autonomous financial agents, already processing more than 200,000 daily enterprise workflows. The Avalanche Foundation is backing the effort with a strategic investment, though terms were not disclosed.
The platform addresses what W3 calls an "accountability gap" - AI agents now execute payments and move capital faster than traditional enterprise controls can monitor them. W3 aggregates custody, compliance, and settlement services into unified workflows, allowing businesses to deploy financial solutions in a single day rather than months.
"Agents are moving money faster than enterprise controls can follow," said Porter Stowell, CEO of W3. "We built the platform that lets finance teams keep pace without giving up oversight."
Reducing Integration Friction
Many enterprises remain sidelined by the complexity of connecting siloed protocols and legacy systems. W3's model requires partners to connect once, then their services become available across every workflow on the platform.
Integration time drops from months to hours under this approach. The company operates across five enterprise verticals and plans to announce additional integration partners in coming weeks.
The Avalanche network currently hosts more than 70 Layer 1 blockchains and maintains integrations with major financial institutions including BlackRock, JPMorgan, and Citi.
What This Means for Finance Teams
The investment signals institutional momentum behind agent-powered finance. Matias Antonio, Chief Investment Officer at the Avalanche Foundation, said: "Agent-powered finance is going to be one of the most consequential shifts in how money moves. We invested in W3 because they are building the control infrastructure this category needs."
For finance professionals, this means new tools for managing autonomous systems are moving from experimental to operational. The platform's ability to add new financial products without custom development could reduce the time your team spends on integration work.
