Banzai International completes acquisition of ConnectAndSell

Banzai International completed its acquisition of ConnectAndSell on July 2, 2026, absorbing a sales acceleration platform that drives 4.8 million live customer conversations each year for roughly 250 B2B organizations. The deal, valued at $13.2 million, brings technology designed to put sales representatives in front of decision-makers faster - a persistent challenge in enterprise selling.

ConnectAndSell generated $14.7 million in revenue in fiscal 2025, with an 86% gross margin and an average revenue per customer of about $59,000. Its customer list includes Intuit, RingCentral, SAP, and Truckstop. The platform's AI analyzes every conversation to sharpen targeting and improve rep performance, cutting down the time wasted on unanswered calls and gatekeepers.

"ConnectAndSell solves the hardest problem in B2B sales: getting decision-makers into live conversations," said Joe Davy, Founder and CEO of Banzai. "It's a category-defining product with enterprise customers, exceptional margins, and a team that's been doing applied AI since before it was fashionable."

What the Acquisition Brings to Banzai

  • Adds sales acceleration technology to Banzai's portfolio, extending its reach from audience engagement through deal conversion.
  • Opens cross-sell opportunities between ConnectAndSell's 250 enterprise clients and Banzai's base of more than 150,000 customers, which includes Amazon, Dell, and Salesforce.
  • Improves revenue and cash flow: on a pro forma combined basis, the acquisition bolsters Banzai's fiscal 2025 revenue by $14.7 million. The company expects cost savings by the end of fiscal 2026 that will contribute to profitability in fiscal 2027.

Jonti McLaren, President of ConnectAndSell, said, "As part of Banzai's AI-powered product family, we can deliver even more value to the sales teams who rely on us every day to deliver millions of conversations and billions of dollars of sales pipeline for their businesses."

Deal Terms

Banzai paid $13.2 million for ConnectAndSell's assets - less than 1x the company's 2025 revenue. The consideration includes $5.5 million in cash, a $1.8 million one-year seller's note, and $5.9 million in Class A common stock and pre-funded warrants priced at roughly $2.98 per share. Thirty-eight ConnectAndSell employees will join Banzai, bringing additional applied AI experience to the combined team.

Why This Matters for Sales Professionals

The acquisition signals continued investment in tools that tackle top-of-funnel inefficiency. Platforms like this convert cold prospecting into instant live conversations, shrinking the gap between a lead and a qualified discussion. For sales representatives who want to stay ahead, an AI Learning Path for Sales Representatives offers structured training on integrating AI into daily workflows. As AI becomes a standard part of the sales stack, the reps who understand how to work alongside it will spend more time selling and less time dialing.
