Broadcom Shifts Strategy as AI Revenue Becomes Core Growth Engine
Broadcom is stepping back from major acquisitions because its AI business is growing faster than deals can deliver. CEO Hock Tan said the company expects AI revenue to exceed $100 billion by fiscal 2027, making organic growth more attractive than buying other companies.

But with AI revenue accelerating internally, Tan said the company is now prioritizing fundamentals and customer value over chasing stock price gains.
