Erin McIntyre, chair of Communications and Media Studies, discussed a course she is piloting at Caldwell called AI & Storytelling. The course teaches students how to integrate generative AI into professional media workflows while upholding journalistic standards. McIntyre and Dr. Jeremy Blatter of Drew University explained that the rise of deepfakes and misinformation makes it essential to train communicators to use these tools thoughtfully and ethically.
