Canva schedules UK Learning Labs for teachers in June 2026
Canva is running a series of free Learning Labs across the UK in June, targeting teachers, school leaders, and education staff. The events cover Canva AI, Canva Code, classroom creativity tools, and productivity features designed for schools.
Regional sessions take place in Leeds on 5 June and Bristol on 12 June. Four London Learning Labs follow from 22 to 25 June at The Bersey on Old Street, each tailored to a specific education stage: primary, secondary, school leadership, and post-16 or further education.
What's covered
Workshops include hands-on training on Canva AI, Magic Write, Canva Code, collaborative whiteboards, video editing, and lesson planning tools. Sessions focus on practical applications: helping students create professional projects, personalizing lesson content, building classroom portfolios, and streamlining collaborative planning.
One workshop covers AI voiceovers and custom videos for adapting learning materials. Another focuses on scripting, recording, and video editing for student projects.
Attendees receive teacher toolkits and classroom-ready resources they can implement immediately.
Who should attend
The events are open to teachers, school leaders, curriculum specialists, digital skills staff, and AI leads. Schools and multi-academy trusts can register multiple team members, though each person must sign up individually. Registration does not guarantee a place.
London sessions run full day
Each London Learning Lab runs 9am to 3pm. Sessions include presentations from the Canva team and workshops led by Canvassador Expert Teachers, plus hands-on activities.
This follows earlier Learning Labs in Liverpool (23 April), Glasgow (29 April), and Birmingham (22 May).
Educators interested in AI tools for teaching should explore the AI for Teachers Learning Path for structured professional development beyond these workshops.
