Canva Integrates with Perplexity Computer to Convert Research Into Design Assets

Canva has integrated its design tools with Perplexity Computer, allowing users to transform AI-generated research and analysis directly into editable visual content. The connector is available immediately for Perplexity Pro and Enterprise subscribers.

The workflow connects Canva through Perplexity Computer's Connectors page. Users can feed meeting notes, performance data and web research into Perplexity Computer, which generates a structured brief that Canva then converts into presentations, social media campaigns, infographics or brand kits.

The integration cuts the manual work typically required to move from research to finished creative assets. A sales team could turn a prospect brief into an outreach presentation. A marketing team could convert trend analysis into a campaign. A business development group could build a proposal from client discussion notes.

Who This Serves

Small businesses increasingly rely on AI for content creation-74% use digital platforms to compete with larger enterprises, according to Perplexity. The company reports more than 100 million monthly active users across its platform.

Emily Jorgensen, Head of Business Development and Partnerships at Perplexity, said the integration lets businesses "design right alongside the rest of its work, turning research, data, and a rough idea into a finished presentation, video, or campaign without ever leaving the flow."

What's Supported

The connector supports social media assets, campaign materials, presentation decks, pitch documents, infographics, brand kits and reusable templates. The feature works in 11 languages: English, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Chinese and Spanish.

Canva serves more than 250 million monthly users across 190 countries. AI usage on the platform has tripled over the past year, and the company said this integration reflects its broader effort to embed design capabilities across AI platforms.
