CIPR Communications wins gold for most AI-ready agency at 2026 Bulldog PR Awards

CIPR Communications won Gold in the Most AI-Ready Agency category at the 2026 Bulldog PR Awards, beating a field of agencies, brands, and communications teams from across North America. Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges and announced on June 26, with the Calgary-based agency landing among the top honorees.

"I'm proud of what our team has built. Being AI-ready isn't a switch you flip. It takes constant learning, adapting, validation, and a team willing to do both," said Christina Pilarski, Founder and CEO of CIPR Communications.

Integrating AI across agency workflows

CIPR has embedded AI into media strategy, content development, client reporting, and digital PR. President Peter Pilarski has been speaking publicly about practical AI adoption in communications, most recently presenting his Two Journeys Framework at the WSI 2026 Global Convention in Cabo San Lucas.

"The agencies that thrive going forward won't be the ones that talk about AI. They'll be the ones that have figured out how to use it to do better work while also ensuring human oversight and the highest possible quality standards," Pilarski said. He added that the agency transformed every workflow and built an intelligence engine into its processes, resulting in "AI-enhanced, data-driven public relations that tell authentic, trustworthy human stories and brand narratives."

A new tool for measuring brand visibility

CIPR is preparing to launch the Digital Authority Platform, a proprietary tool that measures brand visibility across traditional search, AI-generated results, and editorial channels. The push to track how brands surface in AI outputs is a question more communications teams are starting to take seriously.

Why this matters for PR professionals

Award programs like the Bulldog PR Awards showcase which agencies are actually using AI to change how they work-not just issuing press releases about it. For PR practitioners, the signal is clear: building AI readiness requires deliberate changes to workflow, not a one-time tool purchase. Structured training, such as AI for PR & Communications Courses, can help teams move from experimentation to consistent integration without losing the human oversight that protects quality and credibility.
