Claude Code Mode batches MCP work inside a JavaScript sandbox
A Claude Code plugin uses a JavaScript sandbox to batch tool calls, aiming to cut token use by filtering results before they reach the model.

A third-party plugin for Claude Code introduces a mode that batches Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool calls inside a JavaScript sandbox. The plugin lets Claude write small JavaScript programs that call MCP tools and return filtered results, rather than loading every intermediate response into the model context window.
The approach promises lower token consumption while preserving existing connector approvals. By shifting intermediate processing into the sandbox, the plugin aims to reduce the volume of data passed back to the model during multi-step tool interactions. The isolation guarantees and token savings claims have not yet been independently validated.
