Close Launches Chloe AI Agent Built Into CRM for Sales Teams
Close announced general availability of Chloe, an AI sales agent that operates directly within its CRM platform. The tool is now available on all Close plans for customers in the U.S. and Canada. Chloe calls leads, qualifies prospects, books meetings, and updates customer records without requiring separate integrations.
The company tested Chloe across 306 businesses during beta. Those customers made more than 818,000 calls, reached 111,915 prospects, and completed over 6,400 hours of conversations.
How Chloe Works
Chloe operates inside Close's CRM, which means it has access to customer history, previous conversations, deal context, and workflow automation. Sales teams can start using it within minutes without adding another tool to their stack.
The agent handles repetitive outbound work: qualifying inbound leads, re-engaging dormant opportunities, scheduling follow-ups, and booking meetings. It also supports account research, lead enrichment, and CRM updates through Chloe Chat, a conversational interface.
Beta Results
Ben Pace, founder of ClientMatchmaking.com, reported booking 30 meetings in the first week with Chloe, increasing total meetings booked by more than 50 percent.
Steli Efti, Close's founder and CEO, said the main value isn't replacing salespeople. "For most of the last twenty years, if you wanted faster lead response, more follow-up, or more sales activity, you hired more people," Efti said. "AI changes that. Small businesses can now operate with a level of speed and consistency that previously required much larger teams."

Close plans to expand Chloe with multilingual support and native email and SMS conversations. The company serves more than 11,500 businesses today.
