CloudShare released its June platform update on June 23, 2026, introducing AI-powered participant assistance, shared virtual lab environments, and a redesigned infrastructure console. The release targets sales enablement and technical training teams that need to run complex hands-on labs for larger audiences without adding headcount or operational overhead.
The update spans five areas: AI-powered participant support, collaborative cyber lab environments, integrations, visual validation tools, and infrastructure management. CEO Ben Jubenville framed the release around a specific tension: "Our customers need to support larger audiences, deliver increasingly sophisticated learning experiences, and scale expertise with the same [or fewer] resources."
AI support embedded in the lab experience
Solis AI Participant Assistant provides learners with always-on support directly inside the participant viewer. It pulls answers only from instructor-uploaded materials and responds in real time. The tool reduces instructor load during both live and self-paced sessions by handling routine questions without manual intervention.
CloudShare is also testing an AI Virtual Administrator that lets instructors and administrators create virtual environments through a conversational interface. The system proposes smart defaults, presents a review step, and requires explicit confirmation before building. The goal is to cut setup time and reduce configuration errors - two friction points that sales enablement teams regularly cite when spinning up demo environments.
Team-based labs and shared control
Shared Environments allows multiple participants to connect to a single virtual lab simultaneously. Instructors can hand off screen control, orchestrate group participation, and guide learners through exercises inside one machine. For cybersecurity and IT training, this enables team-based simulations that isolated environments cannot replicate. For sales teams running complex product demos, it means prospects can interact with the same live environment together.
On the infrastructure side, the Infrastructure Console introduces tabbed navigation across networking, VM details, and utilization data. It separates environment-level actions from VM-level actions - a structural change designed to prevent misconfiguration and speed up daily operations for administrators managing dozens of lab instances.
Automation and integration updates
The Integration Hub consolidates native integrations - including webhooks, LMS connections, SSO, and Slack - into a single management page. It enables low-code automated workflows with thousands of third-party tools. For sales operations teams, this means fewer manual steps between CRM updates, lab provisioning, and learner tracking. This kind of workflow automation is central to how sales organizations are adopting AI Agents & Automation to reduce repetitive administrative work.
CloudShare also added AI Visual Checks, an enhanced validation algorithm with in-editor tooling that helps experienced builders capture better reference images. A forthcoming Custom AMI Creation feature will let customers running AWS-based labs capture a live virtual machine's state and reuse it as a baseline for future environments, ensuring every demo participant starts from a consistent, clean configuration.
Why this matters for sales teams
Sales enablement leaders are being asked to run more product demos and technical workshops with flat or shrinking team sizes. Each update in this release - from AI-powered learner support to shared lab environments - addresses a specific operational bottleneck. The Solis assistant deflects routine questions that would otherwise pull instructors away from high-value conversations. Shared Environments let prospects and sales engineers interact inside the same live system during a demo, rather than watching a screen share. The Integration Hub connects lab provisioning to the tools sales teams already use. These aren't abstract platform improvements; they are levers that directly affect how many qualified interactions a sales team can run per week.
