Conectys deploys AI-powered Quality Guardian across live customer support chats

Conectys has deployed its AI-powered Quality Guardian tool across a live global digital commerce customer support operation. The system evaluates up to 100% of eligible customer chats against the same quality and compliance criteria used by human QA teams, giving supervisors visibility far beyond what manual sampling can provide.

Traditional quality assurance hits a wall when chat volumes climb. A person can only review so many interactions in a day. Sampling catches broad trends but often misses recurring issues, emerging patterns, or conversations that need immediate attention. Quality Guardian addresses that gap directly.

How the system works in practice

Quality Guardian analyzes eligible chats against the client program's established quality framework. It applies defined criteria consistently across every interaction it reviews. Supervisors then use that broader evidence base to review performance, identify patterns, and direct quality activity where it is most needed.

"As customer support operations grow, quality management has to keep pace," said Anca Bancu, Chief Operating Officer at Conectys. "Quality Guardian equips our teams with near-real-time intelligence across customer interactions, so they can direct attention and improvement effort where it will have the greatest impact."

The deployment extends the program's QA model from selected manual samples to the full set of interactions available and approved for analysis. Coverage applies to customer chats that meet those criteria - some interactions remain excluded where consent, data availability, or program requirements do not permit analysis.

What changes for supervisors and coaches

Alex Amaya, Global Operations Quality Manager at Conectys, described the shift in practical terms: "Quality Guardian gives supervisors a fuller picture of what is happening across eligible customer chats. With broader, near-real-time quality insight, teams can identify patterns faster, prioritize the right reviews, and make coaching more precise."

Early operational feedback suggests the wider QA coverage is helping supervisors focus coaching and improvement actions with greater precision. Conectys is continuing to assess the impact on service quality as the deployment matures. AI handles the analysis at scale, but supervisors still interpret the findings, review context, and decide what action will improve the operation.

This approach reflects how AI for Customer Support is being applied in live environments - not as a replacement for human judgment, but as a tool that increases coverage and consistency while keeping accountability with experienced people.

Why this matters for customer support professionals

For QA analysts and team leads, tools like Quality Guardian change the nature of the work. Instead of spending hours reviewing a random sample of chats, supervisors can start with AI-flagged patterns and direct their attention to the interactions that need it most. Coaching becomes more targeted because the evidence base is larger and arrives faster. The skill shift is real: interpreting AI-generated quality data and deciding what to act on becomes as important as the review itself.
