Core AI Holdings has launched HomeGPT, an AI-powered platform that generates interior, exterior and renovation concepts from photos or sketches. The tool compresses early-stage design exploration from weeks into seconds, giving homeowners and professionals a faster way to visualize remodeling projects before committing capital.

User growth and market traction

During its beta period, HomeGPT grew from approximately 2,000 to over 130,000 users across North America, Japan and South Korea. These users generated more than 380,000 AI design tasks covering interior, exterior, garden and renovation projects.

"HomeGPT's growth shows that AI home design is no longer just an image-generation novelty," said Aitan Zacharin, CEO of Core AI Holdings. "It is becoming a new entry point for renovation, real estate visualization, home furnishing commerce and professional design services. Before users spend thousands of dollars renovating, they want to see what their future home could look like across different styles, budgets and layouts. We are compressing early-stage design exploration from days or weeks into seconds."

Core features and technical infrastructure

The platform serves homeowners, interior designers, real estate agents and home furnishing brands. Users upload images of rooms or hand-drawn sketches to generate high-quality renovation renderings, then refine the results through conversational prompts.

HomeGPT provides AI Design capabilities for object replacement, wall redesign, flooring concepts and floor-plan-to-3D generation. The system relies on three core components to maintain accuracy:

  • A spatial understanding engine identifies walls, windows, floors and furniture to preserve room proportions during generation.
  • Multimodal generative models process photos, text prompts and reference images simultaneously, enabling workflows from sketch to realistic render.
  • A cloud task orchestration system dynamically allocates resources across image, video, conversation and 3D workloads to manage inference costs.

Core AI Holdings also plans to convert static renovation images into five- to 10-second cinematic video walkthroughs. These videos will feature push-in camera moves, entry perspectives and changing light conditions. Future professional mode updates will include budget-aware design tools, AI furniture shopping lists and simplified construction references.

Why this matters for real estate and construction professionals

Visualizing a property before construction or renovation reduces costly change orders and aligns client expectations. Tools that generate accurate 3D layouts and construction references from basic sketches allow contractors and agents to present viable options during initial consultations.

Integrating AI for Real Estate & Construction workflows can significantly shorten the approval cycle for remodeling bids and property staging, moving projects from concept to execution with greater precision.
