Creative Fabrica Partners with Google Cloud to Scale AI Design Tools for 20 Million Creators
Creative Fabrica, a digital marketplace for designers and creators, announced a partnership with Google Cloud on May 7 to integrate advanced AI models into its platform. The collaboration will allow the Amsterdam-based company to expand its Studio AI suite, which generates images, video, audio, and 3D models for its global user base.
Creative Fabrica acquires roughly 250,000 new customers monthly. The company serves hobbyists, crafters, and professional designers with tools that reduce technical friction in the creative process.
What Google Cloud Provides
Creative Fabrica is using several Google Cloud technologies in production:
- Gemini's reasoning capabilities to translate creative briefs into design outputs
- Veo for video generation and Lyria for audio production
- Imagen and Nano Banana for image synthesis
The 3D model generator demonstrates how the integration works. Users type a description, and the tool chains multiple Gemini prompts together to produce a real-time preview-eliminating the need for complex technical prompts.
Roemie Hillenaar, CEO of Creative Fabrica, said the company chose Google Cloud because its models deliver production-ready quality across multiple formats. "Our community is already spending less time on technical hurdles and more time on creating," Hillenaar said.
Human-in-the-Loop Design
Creative Fabrica built its approach around keeping humans central to the creative process. The platform's "Edit-to-Earn" feature lets creators modify professional designs using AI while ensuring original artists receive credit and payment.
This model treats AI as a collaboration tool rather than a replacement for human work.
Moments: Mother's Day Launch
Creative Fabrica launched Moments, an application that transforms photo libraries into polished montages. The tool uses AI agents powered by Gemini to scan, organize, and highlight photos, then applies visual effects and pairs them with custom music generated by Lyria 3.
