Cvent Accelerate Singapore returns in August 2026 to examine AI and event technology

Cvent Accelerate Singapore will return for its fifth edition on 6 August 2026 at Fairmont Singapore. The conference brings together event planners, marketers, hospitality executives and technology providers from across Asia-Pacific. It marks the first Cvent Accelerate event in the region since the company introduced its new global brand identity.

AI and event technology under review

The programme will focus on how artificial intelligence, data and event technology are reshaping business events. Sessions will cover planning, venue sourcing, attendee engagement, commercial performance and post-event analysis. Key topics include AI innovation, return on investment, strategic planning and sustainable event delivery. The conference will also examine how events can be measured against broader organisational and commercial objectives.

One session, "Decoding the Shift: B2B Event Trends & The Path Forward in the AI Age", looks at AI's influence on event formats and planning priorities. "The Future of Event Tech: The Next Act" explores the next stage of technology development in the sector. "Event Pipeline Anxiety: Solving the Fears That Keep Marketers Up at Night" tackles the often tense relationship between events and marketing performance. The programme further addresses AI for Hospitality & Events by examining the entire procurement process, from venue sourcing and RFPs to collaboration between planners and hotels and the measurement of outcomes.

Hospitality and venue sourcing in focus

The conference will explore how technology supports communication, proposal management, contracting and performance measurement between event organisers and hospitality suppliers. Hotels and venues increasingly rely on digital platforms to manage group business and respond to RFPs, while AI-based systems assist with venue recommendations and proposal content. Discussions will cover how venue content, data quality and response processes influence visibility within digital sourcing platforms.

CventIQ demonstrations

Attendees can view demonstrations of CventIQ, the AI capabilities embedded across Cvent's event management platform. The tools are applied to planning, content generation, attendee communication, engagement management and post-event reporting. Cvent says the platform helps event teams manage data and automate selected processes without giving up control over programme delivery.

Will Kataria, Country Head and Senior Director for Asia-Pacific at Cvent, said: "The fifth edition is particularly significant as it's the first in Asia Pacific since our global brand transformation, and it arrives at a moment when AI is fundamentally changing what events can do. We're bringing together the industry's most forward-thinking leaders to share what's working, explore what's possible and push the conversation forward."

Why this matters for hospitality and events professionals

The sessions provide a practical look at how AI is being built into event platforms now-not as a standalone tool, but as a feature that affects sourcing, engagement and ROI measurement. For hotel and venue teams, the conference offers insight into how planners use digital sourcing platforms and what makes venue content rank higher in those systems. Event and marketing professionals will see how AI connects planning to commercial outcomes, including sales activity and post-event data. The CventIQ demos show where automation can reduce manual work without removing human oversight.
