Dell and TD SYNNEX Launch New AI Labs to Power Innovation

Dell Technologies has teamed up with TD SYNNEX and Nvidia to open AI Labs across Europe. These labs provide businesses with dedicated spaces to test, scale, and deploy enterprise-ready AI solutions using advanced Nvidia infrastructure.

The initiative includes three AI Labs—two already confirmed in Germany and France, with a third planned for the UK by the end of 2025. These facilities offer a controlled, high-performance environment where organisations can experiment with AI technologies, moving beyond theory to practical application.

Helping Businesses Build AI Confidence

Most companies recognize AI’s potential but struggle to scale it effectively. Dell reports that while 82% of businesses see productivity gains from AI projects, 93% face challenges integrating AI into their existing workflows. These new labs aim to bridge that gap.

Craig Smith, Vice President for Data, AI and Applications at TD SYNNEX Europe, highlights how the partnership supports channel partners by providing pre-configured workflows, hands-on training, and customisable proof-of-concepts. This approach helps businesses adopt AI solutions more quickly and confidently, driving economic growth and strengthening Europe’s AI position.

By offering access to advanced infrastructure, the labs allow partners to validate AI use cases, streamline operations, and reduce risk before full-scale deployment. Whether it’s in financial modelling, predictive healthcare, or smart logistics, the labs help turn AI concepts into real-world applications.

Infrastructure Built for Enterprise AI

  • Dell PowerEdge R760 servers with dual NVIDIA Hopper GPUs
  • NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPU
  • NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking
  • High-performance Dell PowerScale F210 storage
  • NVIDIA AI Enterprise software stack

This setup supports large-scale, data-intensive AI workloads and is designed for industries such as government, healthcare, finance, retail, and manufacturing.

Anthony Hills, Director of Enterprise Business UK&I at Nvidia, explains that the labs will help businesses accelerate AI adoption and innovation by providing a direct path from experimentation to deployment.

The Munich lab, launched in partnership with the appliedAI Initiative, is already operational. The German and French labs will be open for customer and partner use by September 2025, with the UK lab following soon after.

Supporting Europe’s AI Ambitions

These labs play a key role in building Europe’s AI capabilities. For the UK, in particular, this effort aligns with national strategies to expand AI infrastructure and skills.

Steve Young, Senior Vice-President and Managing Director UK at Dell Technologies, emphasizes the need to build infrastructure and expertise to foster research and innovation. According to Young, the AI Labs will move AI beyond buzzwords by combining Dell’s infrastructure with Nvidia’s AI solutions, enabling businesses to build and scale AI effectively.

With these labs, Dell and TD SYNNEX are providing more than technology—they offer a practical path for businesses to translate AI ambitions into working solutions, delivering the scale and support needed for enterprise AI across Europe.
