Emerson Launches Industrial AI Platform for Operations and Reliability

Emerson has released the AspenTech AVA platform, an industrial AI system designed to help operators improve reliability, optimize workflows and make faster operational decisions across facilities.

The platform combines generative AI with operational data and engineering models to deliver real-time analysis and recommendations. It connects to existing automation and operational technology infrastructure, allowing companies to adopt AI without disrupting current processes.

How It Works

AVA uses the AspenTech Inmation Data Platform to organize operational data across cloud, edge and on-premise systems. Operators gain access to real-time insights and AI-assisted guidance from a single interface.

The platform launches with four applications focused on operational optimization and reliability improvements.

Who It's For

The system targets industrial companies managing complex operations where faster, more accurate decisions directly affect performance. It provides AI-guided support to employees handling increasingly complicated workflows.

Claudio Fayad, chief technology officer for Emerson's Aspen Technology business, said the platform helps companies improve operational performance without disrupting existing processes.
