Ehrhardt Partner Group (EPG) has introduced EPG AURA Communicator, a conversational AI tool that lets warehouse employees pull operational data and company knowledge using natural language. The solution, announced September 10, 2026, sits within EPG's AI-native AURA environment and targets the daily friction of hunting for answers across disconnected systems.
The Communicator runs on EPG's Conversation Intelligence AI capability. Workers can ask questions in plain speech and get responses drawn from approved sources - warehouse management systems, automation tech, documentation, work instructions, tickets, and other connected applications. It removes the need to know which system holds the information or how to navigate it.
How teams interact with it
Users have two access points. They can type queries through the EPG Virtual Assistant EVA chat interface, or they can go hands-free and use voice commands through LYDIA Voice. This means a picker or packer does not have to stop what they are doing to walk to a terminal.
Role-specific AI assistants evaluate only the connected, approved sources relevant to the user and the task. A supervisor asking about order exceptions sees different information than a service technician pulling maintenance documentation. The system applies defined roles, permissions, and security controls through the AURA Cognitive Core, which links structured operational data with company knowledge.
Configuration and integration
Assistants can be configured for different functions - warehouse associates, supervisors, service teams, and administrators each get information scoped to their responsibilities. Companies can also connect Microsoft Copilot, which makes AURA assistants available inside existing Microsoft environments. AURA Communicator retrieves data from operational systems through standardized interfaces, so it sits on top of the tools warehouses already use rather than requiring a rip-and-replace.
