FleetFusion launches AI platform to handle fleet management workload
FleetSafe Group has released FleetFusion, an AI-powered platform designed to consolidate vehicle, asset, operator, maintenance, and regulatory data into a single system for fleet managers.
The platform processes information across compliance, driver safety, and financial performance. Rather than simply adding an AI chatbot to existing data, FleetFusion embeds AI into workflows to reduce manual tasks that fleet managers typically handle alone.
What the platform does
FleetFusion includes several core functions. The system can identify vehicle damage during walkaround inspections and answer plain-language questions about fleet data. It consolidates information from multiple repair and maintenance systems through API connections, eliminating the need to log into separate platforms.
A digital compliance vault lets drivers upload certifications, medical documents, and annual declarations through a mobile interface. The platform flags safety issues for immediate escalation between drivers and managers.
The system also includes peer benchmarking data covering defect resolution times and parts pricing across fleets.
Driver training and risk prediction
FleetFusion uses individual driver data to assign targeted training requirements. An AI avatar delivers instructions and can be programmed to match a company's senior staff or adjust severity based on the trainee's performance. Managers receive confirmation when drivers complete training and sign off on compliance.
The platform can also predict driver risk. By analyzing age, behavior patterns, and driving history, it identifies which drivers face elevated incident risk at specific severity levels.
Target market
FleetSafe positions FleetFusion for fleets ranging from 100 to 20,000 vehicles. The system handles mixed fleets with different vehicle brands serviced across multiple garages, consolidating service records into a single digital filing cabinet.
Jason Fitzgerald, chief revenue officer at FleetFusion, said the platform was built using feedback from transport managers about what they needed from an end-to-end management system.
For fleet and transport managers seeking to understand AI applications in their field, an AI learning path for transportation managers covers practical implementations. Those interested in how AI agents and automation reduce manual workflows may find additional context in broader automation resources.
