Foxconn showcases AI servers, EVs and robotics at VivaTech

Foxconn debuted in Europe at VivaTech 2026 with AI servers and EVs. It partnered with Bull to manufacture NVIDIA's NVL72 locally.

Foxconn, the world's largest AI server provider, made its European debut at VivaTech in Paris on June 17, 2026, displaying end-to-end integration for AI factories and sovereign AI infrastructure. The centerpiece was a rack-scale AI supercomputer built with NVIDIA technology, alongside a new partnership with French advanced computing leader Bull to manufacture the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 platform in Europe under the Bull brand.

"Foxconn is connecting with transformation opportunities and diversified business models across European industries. By fostering technology collaboration with industry, start-ups, government and academia, we strengthen our Build-Operate-Localize presence in Europe," said Foxconn Vice President and Spokesperson James Wu. The BOL model is designed to embed manufacturing and operations within local communities.

AI supercomputing and sovereign infrastructure

At Booth 2B41, Foxconn showed the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72, which it calls the next frontier of Agentic AI, along with NVIDIA HGX Rubin NVL8 and NVIDIA MGX 4U systems. These products highlight the group's manufacturing strengths in high-density AI racks, compute trays, liquid cooling, power delivery, and system integration. The systems on display underscore the complexity of modern AI data centers, a domain where AI for IT & Development Courses provide practical knowledge for engineers and architects.

Foxconn's dedicated AI supercomputing and cloud operations unit, Visionbay.ai - an NVIDIA Cloud Partner - demonstrated full-stack AI factory operations, from technical services to application ecosystems. The Vera Rubin NVL72, in particular, is positioned as the next frontier of Agentic AI, a topic explored in depth through AI Agents & Automation Training.

Electric vehicles and humanoid robotics

For the first time in Europe, the public could sit inside two electric vehicles from Foxconn unit FOXTRON Vehicle Technologies. The MODEL B sporty crossover - sold in Taiwan under the BRIA brand - and the MODEL D lifestyle multipurpose utility vehicle showcase the group's capabilities in complete vehicle design, smart cockpits, and advanced electronic/electrical architectures. Both are offered through a Contract Design and Manufacturing Service (CDMS) business model.

A wheeled humanoid robot demonstrated dual-arm collaboration for precision assembly tasks. The embodied intelligence is trained on actual factory scenarios, combining simulation-based training with on-site iteration to enable rapid deployment across manufacturing facilities.

Why this matters for IT and development professionals

Foxconn's move into rack-scale AI supercomputers and sovereign infrastructure signals a growing demand for professionals who can design, deploy, and manage high-density AI systems. The shift toward Agentic AI and liquid-cooled, NVIDIA-powered racks means IT teams will need deeper expertise in power delivery, thermal management, and full-stack AI operations. The technologies shown at VivaTech are not distant concepts - they are entering production and will soon shape data center requirements across Europe and beyond.
