Future Secure AI raises $80 million at $1.2 billion valuation to expand globally

Future Secure AI raised US$80 million at a $1.2 billion valuation to expand its AI agent teams for investment banking, consulting, healthcare, and law. The company expects annual recurring revenue to near US$100 million by end of 2026 ahead of a planned 2027 ASX listing.

Future Secure AI, a Sydney-founded company now headquartered in Austin, has raised US$80 million (A$115 million) to expand its customer base globally. The funding values the three-year-old business at US$1.2 billion (A$1.7 billion) as it pushes deeper into automating complex professional tasks across sectors like investment banking, consulting, healthcare, and law.

The round came via convertible notes from Square Peg, Yarra Capital Management, Macquarie Asset Management, and Firetrail. It marks the company's third funding round, following a previous raise in June 2025.

What the company builds

Future Secure AI creates AI "co-workers" for large organisations. Rather than a single chatbot, the technology assembles teams of AI agents - each with a name and face - overseen by a human supervisor. The agents handle intricate workflows that demand domain expertise, not just simple automation.

Co-CEOs Baghai and Hunter said the investment would help take that approach to more customers internationally. The company already has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, New York, Chicago, Austin, Toronto, and São Paulo.

Revenue trajectory and public listing plans

Future Secure AI expects annual recurring revenue to approach US$100 million by the end of 2026, according to the Australian Financial Review. The company is also preparing for an ASX listing, targeted for late 2027, with investment banks expected to be appointed in the coming months.

For executives and strategy leaders evaluating how to integrate agent-based systems, structured learning paths can clarify what's practical now versus what's still experimental. AI for Executives Courses offer frameworks for assessing these tools without the vendor hype.

Why this matters for executives, finance, and healthcare leaders

Future Secure AI's focus on regulated, high-stakes industries signals a shift in enterprise AI adoption. Rather than generic assistants, the product targets workflows where errors carry real consequences - contract review in law, deal analysis in banking, patient data processing in healthcare.

For managers and department heads in these fields, the funding round validates that AI agents are moving beyond pilot programs into revenue-generating deployments. The US$100 million revenue target and ASX listing timeline also suggest the company is betting that large organisations will pay for supervised AI teams, not just standalone tools.
