FutureProof, Bridge Specialty Launch AI Insurance Program for Southeast Properties
FutureProof Technologies and Bridge Specialty Group announced a new excess and surplus lines insurance program targeting condo and renters policies in hurricane and flood-exposed regions across Florida, Texas, and the Southeast.
The program uses FutureProof's AI-powered underwriting platform to generate instant, bindable quotes for properties in catastrophe zones. Bridge Specialty, a wholesale insurance broker, will distribute the product through its network of retail agents.
How It Works
FutureProof's technology analyzes property-level data to produce real-time pricing and underwriting decisions. The platform integrates with Accelerant, a specialty insurance platform that provides capacity and operational support.
Retail agents access quotes through an API that streamlines placement in markets where coverage has become difficult to find. Bridge Specialty handles agent appointments and provides support navigating eligibility and coverage options.
Market Need
Traditional insurers have retreated from catastrophe-exposed regions, leaving condo and renters policyholders with limited options. FutureProof has written over $1 billion in total insurable value since launching its managing general agent and agency operations in August 2024.
