Hadrius has integrated with Claude's Compliance API, allowing financial services firms to capture and archive employee conversations with Claude the same way they archive email, chat, and text. The move addresses a compliance gap: SEC recordkeeping rules apply to any channel where employees conduct business, and AI assistants are increasingly part of that work.
The integration uses Claude's Compliance API, available only to customers on the Enterprise plan. It requires no software on employee devices and captures conversations in the background on Hadrius infrastructure. Hadrius already supports archiving for ChatGPT, giving firms coverage across two of the most widely used AI assistants in financial services.
Thomas Stewart, Co-founder and CEO of Hadrius, said: "Every few years, the place where work actually happens moves and compliance has to move with it. First it went from email to chat, text, and social. Now a lot of it is happening inside AI. Our job is to make sure that wherever employees work, the record is already there when a regulator asks. Adding Claude is us keeping our promise to support all the channels our customers care about."
The compliance gap in AI-assisted communications
For PR and communications teams within financial services, the risk is acute. Advisers and staff routinely use AI assistants to draft client communications, answer questions, and research messaging - all of which create records subject to the same retention and supervision requirements as email. Most firms have had no way to capture these interactions until now.
How the integration works
The integration uses Claude's Compliance API, exclusive to the Enterprise tier, and operates without installing any software on employee devices. Capture happens in the background on Hadrius infrastructure, so employees continue using Claude as they normally would. Firms on Claude Enterprise can enable the connector by contacting their account manager, with setup instructions available in the Hadrius Help Center.
Why this matters for PR and communications professionals
This integration removes a compliance blind spot for communications leaders. Every AI-generated draft or research query that shapes client-facing communications now falls under the same recordkeeping obligations as email. Archiving those conversations within Hadrius means teams can demonstrate compliance without disrupting workflows. For professionals who use Claude in their daily work, understanding how AI fits into compliance frameworks is essential - and ongoing AI for PR & Communications training can help teams build those skills.
