Hippocratic AI Hires Six Senior Executives to Scale Healthcare AI Operations

Hippocratic AI announced six senior executive appointments on May 14, adding leadership across customer success, legal, strategy, and communications as the healthcare AI company expands its voice agent platform across hospitals, insurers, and pharmaceutical companies.

The hires follow a $141 million Series C round in November 2025 and recent product launches including Nurse Co-Pilot and AI Front Door. The company builds AI agents designed for clinical environments, handling tasks like patient follow-ups, care navigation, and chronic disease management.

The New Executives

Dr. Avik Ray joins as Vice President of Strategy in the Office of the CEO. A physician and data scientist, Ray will lead FDA regulatory strategy and cross-product growth initiatives, including clinical publications and market expansion. He previously worked at the intersection of life sciences, product development, and regulatory affairs at high-growth companies.

Jenna Rogers and David Fraser both take Vice President roles in Customer Success. Rogers will manage customer relationships from contract through deployment and operations at scale. Fraser leads customer success across large health system partnerships, focusing on operational discipline and measurable returns for healthcare partners.

Kashif Rashid becomes Chief Legal Officer. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Nevro Corp., a publicly traded medical device company, and held senior legal positions at Atara Biotherapeutics, St. Jude Medical, and GE Healthcare. At Hippocratic AI, he oversees legal, regulatory, and corporate affairs functions.

Ann Neir joins as Vice President of Revenue Strategy and Operations. She spent over two decades scaling go-to-market operations at enterprise software and AI companies, most recently at 6sense. She previously held revenue operations leadership roles at Mindtickle, Cockroach Labs, and Cloudera through two IPOs and multiple scale-ups.

Cynara Lilly becomes Chief Communications Officer. She brings two decades of experience in strategic communications and public policy, most recently as Executive Director of Advocacy and Communications at Ballmer Group. Earlier, she was a principal at RALLY, a strategic communications and issue advocacy firm.

Why Now

The appointments address scaling challenges common to healthcare software: customer success requires deep operational expertise; legal and regulatory demands intensify as deployments grow; and go-to-market operations need systems to coordinate sales, customer success, and marketing teams.

Hippocratic AI's focus on regulatory and compliance expertise-evident in both Rashid's appointment and Ray's strategy role-reflects the reality that healthcare AI companies face FDA scrutiny, reimbursement questions, and complex state regulations that slow deployment without proper guidance.

For PR and communications professionals, Lilly's appointment signals how communications strategy is becoming central to AI company scaling, particularly in regulated industries where public trust and government relations directly affect commercial success.

The company operates in AI for healthcare, a sector where safety claims require substantiation through clinical evidence and regulatory compliance-not marketing alone.
