HPE Introduces GreenLake Intelligence: Agentic AI for Seamless Hybrid Cloud Operations and IT Modernization

HPE Launches GreenLake Intelligence for Hybrid Operations

HPE has introduced GreenLake Intelligence, an AI-driven framework aimed at simplifying hybrid IT operations. This new solution integrates agentic AIOps across multiple infrastructure layers, tackling challenges like siloed workflows, slow troubleshooting, and inefficient resource use.

Accessible via GreenLake Copilot, GreenLake Intelligence deploys AI agents that operate in real-time across storage, networking, compute, virtualization, hybrid cloud cost management, observability, sustainability, and business services. The system's agentic mesh technology powers HPE Aruba Networking Central, which offers network and security analysis and automatic remediation through network-specific reasoning agents.

Agentic Automation with OpsRamp Operations Copilot

The OpsRamp operations copilot brings agentic automation to IT operations across the full infrastructure stack. It supports faster detection and resolution of issues while keeping humans in control. Key features include conversational product help and an AI-driven command center that manages alerts, incidents, and root-cause analysis. By coordinating compute, network, storage, virtualization, and software layers, OpsRamp enhances tasks like capacity planning and explainability.

HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 and Model Context Protocol

HPE is previewing the Alletra Storage MP X10000 with built-in support for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. This integration connects GreenLake Intelligence with the X10000, enabling developers and administrators to manage data operations via GreenLake Copilot or natural language interfaces. The AI-powered storage leverages unstructured data and metadata intelligence to improve AI workflows.

Antonio Neri, HPE's CEO, emphasized that this approach moves enterprises from hybrid IT complexity to AI-powered cloud operations, boosting IT performance and efficiency.

Enhancements to GreenLake Cloud Services

GreenLake cloud services now include improved FinOps and sustainability tools, plus new features for workload planning and capacity management. The workload and capacity optimizer helps manage workloads and hardware assets to optimize cost, resilience, and sustainability across HPE and third-party infrastructure.

  • Extended consumption analytics for better cost control
  • Proactive spend anomaly alerts
  • FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification™ (FOCUS) exports for chargeback
  • Recommendations for infrastructure cost optimization, including VM downsizing and decommissioning
  • Predictive sustainability forecasting and a managed service provider mode in the Sustainability Insight Center

Introducing HPE CloudOps Software Suite

The new HPE CloudOps Software suite combines OpsRamp, HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software, and HPE Zerto Software to simplify hybrid cloud operations. Available standalone or as a package, it offers automation, orchestration, governance, data mobility, protection, and cyber resilience across multivendor and multicloud environments.

HPE Services supports this with consulting, planning, implementation, and operation services, plus CloudOps as a managed service option. This helps organizations optimize resources across multiple clouds efficiently.

New Tools and Programs for Hybrid IT Modernization

HPE CloudPhysics Plus is a new assessment tool offering automated analysis and recommendations for workload placement, asset use, and infrastructure modernization. It supports multiple environments, including Hyper-V, bare metal, Kubernetes, and public clouds. The tool is available through channel partners and HPE sales with a free assessment option.

GreenLake also introduces the HPE Cloud Commit program, a flexible purchasing model that allows customers to make predictable long-term commitments, unlocking discounts and value-added services.

HPE Financial Services Supports Hybrid IT Adoption

HPE Financial Services offers a zero percent financing program for CloudOps and standalone software like Morpheus, OpsRamp, and Zerto, allowing cost spreading over up to three years without extra fees. A new financing option for the HPE Alletra Storage portfolio, including the X10000, offers up to 10% savings and no payments for the first two months.

Additional financing and IT lifecycle services support hybrid IT modernization and sustainable technology decommissioning.
