HubEngage Launches AI-Powered Surveys and Microlearning to Cut HR Workload
HubEngage, a workforce platform for frontline and distributed teams, announced two AI features designed to reduce manual HR work: automated surveys that analyze employee sentiment and microlearning that delivers training through short quizzes on mobile devices.
The tools address a core HR problem. Annual surveys become outdated quickly. Training sessions pull workers off the floor. And for organizations without large HR teams, running either process consistently often falls to the bottom of the priority list.
AI Surveys Compress Analysis Into Hours
The AI Surveys feature generates two to three-question pulse checks triggered on a schedule or by events like onboarding, shift milestones, or role changes. The system then analyzes responses across 40 areas including work environment, employee satisfaction, career growth, and manager relationships-down to individual supervisor level.
HubEngage estimates that analyzing survey data for a 500-person organization previously required over 100 hours of manual HR work. The AI process completes the job in hours with no human involvement needed.
"Organizations that only run annual surveys are essentially making decisions about their people with year-old data," said Tushneem Dharmagadda, CEO and founder of HubEngage. "AI Surveys give them a continuous, real-time pulse on their workforce without adding to anyone's workload."
Employees can be incentivized with points to boost participation rates.
Microlearning Handles Routine Knowledge Updates
The AI Microlearning feature automatically generates quizzes when organizations update policies or procedures within the platform. Employees receive these quizzes on their phones, and the system immediately explains incorrect answers to reinforce learning.
Paired with HubEngage's AI chatbot-which answers employee questions directly from the organization's content library-the feature eliminates formal training sessions for routine updates.
The math is straightforward. In a 500-person organization where employees ask five routine questions monthly that would normally go to HR or supervisors, the combined time cost reaches over 200 hours per month. At $100 per loaded hour, that equals roughly $250,000 annually. HubEngage estimates deploying the platform at that scale recovers the investment within the first year while improving employee experience and reducing manual training administration.
Part of Broader Platform
Both features sit within HubEngage's Continuous Learning and Engagement pillars. The platform also covers Communications and Operations, including shift scheduling, task management, and time tracking.
The company targets small and mid-sized businesses running frontline or distributed teams that need enterprise-grade tools without enterprise complexity or pricing.
