Hyperbots Secures $6.5 Million Series A to Boost AI in Finance and Accounting
Hyperbots, an AI platform that automates finance and accounting workflows, has raised $6.5 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was co-led by Arkam Ventures and Athera Venture Partners, with additional support from JSW Ventures and existing backers Kalaari Capital, Sunicon Ventures, and Darashaw & Company.
What Hyperbots Offers
Founded in 2023 by Niyati Chhaya, Ram Jayaraman, and Rajeev Pathak, Hyperbots aims to streamline finance operations for mid-market companies. The platform automates tasks across the entire finance cycle, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, expense management, analytics, and reporting.
Each AI co-pilot is developed in direct collaboration with CFOs, ensuring the solutions meet real-world needs. Before launching its minimum viable product (MVP), the team partnered with more than 25 U.S.-based companies over 18 months to refine the technology. These co-pilots seamlessly integrate with popular ERP, CRM, and finance systems.
Since launch, Hyperbots has achieved:
- Over 80% straight-through processing
- 99.8% document accuracy
- Up to 80% reduction in manual interventions
This results in faster processing times and lower operational costs. Currently, Hyperbots is on track to serve over 100 clients across industries such as healthcare, media, manufacturing, retail, EV infrastructure, construction, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and real estate.
Use of Funds
The new funding will accelerate the company’s U.S. market expansion and support the development of additional AI co-pilots. Hyperbots also plans to launch HyperLM, the first large language model trained solely on finance and accounting data, aimed at improving the precision and scope of its AI-driven workflows.
Leadership Insights
Rajeev Pathak, Co-founder and CEO of Hyperbots, said:
“We are entering a new era of finance and accounting transformation in the U.S. Our proprietary, domain-trained AI models and agentic workflow engine enable automation of the heavy, error-prone work that has long held finance teams back. This funding allows us to deepen R&D, speed up deployments, and build a go-to-market ecosystem that helps mid-market CFOs run world-class finance and accounting operations at a fraction of the current cost and effort.”
Bala Srinivasa, Managing Director at Arkam Ventures, added:
“We were impressed by the accuracy and product breadth of Hyperbots’ AI suite, especially for a company so young. Their combination of deep AI expertise and a strong focus on customer value makes them a compelling investment.”
