Inno Holdings Invests $3 Million in AI Sales Agent for Used Phones
Inno Holdings signed a $3 million development contract with a Hong Kong-based AI service provider to build an automated sales agent for used mobile phones. The agreement, signed June 8, 2026, runs through May 31, 2027 and includes milestone-based payments tied to completion of development phases.
The AI agent will handle both sales and customer acquisition for used phones. Inno Holdings retains exclusive ownership of all intellectual property created under the project.
Deal Structure
The company will pay the provider in five installments, with each payment tied to acceptance of a development phase. Inno Holdings can terminate the agreement with 10 days' notice, giving it flexibility if the project underperforms.
The provider must maintain confidentiality and restrict use of any materials created during development.
What This Means for Sales Teams
The project reflects a broader shift toward AI-powered customer acquisition in retail. For sales professionals, this signals that AI for Sales is moving beyond chatbots into full transaction handling - qualifying leads, managing objections, and closing deals without human intervention.
Used phone sales are high-volume, low-margin work where automation offers clear ROI. If Inno's agent succeeds, expect similar deployments across other transaction-heavy sales operations.
Sales teams working in environments where AI Agents & Automation is being implemented should understand how these systems handle edge cases, pricing negotiations, and customer service escalations - areas where human judgment still matters.
