Insilico Medicine and Human Longevity Partner on AI Foundation Models for Aging Research

Insilico Medicine and Human Life Foundation Models, Inc. announced a multi-million-dollar collaboration to build foundation models designed specifically for longevity science. The partnership aims to decode how aging works at the biological level and enable predictive healthcare tools.

Insilico, a Hong Kong-based biotech company developing AI-driven drug discovery tools, will contribute its expertise in multimodal foundation models and deep learning. Human Life Foundation Models-a newly formed company under US-based Human Longevity, Inc.-will supply one of the world's largest integrated datasets spanning multi-omics, imaging, and longitudinal health records from thousands of individuals.

Market and Technical Approach

The global longevity market is valued at approximately $5.3 trillion and is projected to reach $8 trillion by 2030, according to UBS analysis. AI-driven drug discovery has become central to aging research, modeling disease risk and accelerating the discovery of preventive treatments.

Insilico will provide model architecture, benchmarking frameworks, training guidelines, and computational algorithms. The company will build on its MMAI Gym platform, which offers advanced training and evaluation capabilities for AI systems.

Human Life Foundation Models will integrate these tools with Human Longevity's datasets-accumulated over more than a decade of research-to train multimodal AI models. The resulting systems are expected to detect, diagnose, and manage age-related conditions with clinical-grade precision.

What's Next

The jointly developed foundation models are expected to become commercially available to support early detection of age-related diseases, health risk prediction, and discovery of novel therapeutics tailored to individual patients.
