Jamf Unveils AI, Security, and Device Management Innovations at Jamf Nation Live 2025
Jamf introduced AI tools that simplify IT tasks and Blueprints for easier Apple device management. New security features and enhanced Self Service+ improve compliance and user control.

Jamf Unveils New Platform Enhancements at Jamf Nation Live
Jamf recently presented its latest platform updates during the U.S. segment of Jamf Nation Live, its global customer event series. These improvements focus on artificial intelligence, automation, compliance, and identity management, aiming to streamline how organizations deploy, manage, and secure Apple devices at scale. The event series will continue with upcoming sessions in Europe and Asia.
AI Tools That Simplify IT Operations and Boost Decision-Making
Jamf is introducing AI capabilities that support IT teams by simplifying routine tasks and improving operational efficiency. The AI Assistant offers intelligent functions designed to make administrators more productive and help with decision-making.
- Search Skill: Enables quick, natural language searches across device inventories, reducing the need for manual filtering. This makes troubleshooting, compliance checks, and fleet management faster and less error-prone.
- Explain Skill: Translates complex device management configurations and policies into clear language, helping admins understand and manage settings more confidently.
Both features are currently available in beta for testing.
Simplified Device Management with Blueprints
Building on a preview at JNUC, Jamf announced the general availability of Blueprints, which supports Apple’s Declarative Device Management framework. Blueprints consolidate policies, profiles, and restrictions into a unified workflow, reducing setup complexity and streamlining ongoing device management.
Additionally, a beta version of Configuration Profiles within Blueprints uses a dynamic framework that delivers all available mobile device management keys faster. This gives IT teams greater control and flexibility when managing large Apple fleets.
Enhanced Self Service+ Empowers Users and Boosts Security
Jamf expanded Self Service+, its modern portal for macOS end users, with new identity management features. Users can now view account details, change passwords, and request temporary admin access while maintaining compliance and audit trails.
This update helps organizations speed up onboarding, reduce IT support demands, and encourage a security-aware, self-reliant workforce from the start.
New Security and Compliance Features Keep Organizations Audit-Ready
With Mac usage growing in enterprises, Jamf introduced integrated security tools that simplify risk management and compliance.
- Compliance Benchmarks: Now generally available in Jamf Pro, this feature automates endpoint hardening workflows based on Apple’s macOS Security Compliance Project. It has already been adopted by hundreds of organizations to enhance compliance readiness.
- App Installers with Malware Detection: All applications in the Jamf App Catalog are scanned before deployment using Jamf Threat Labs' malware detection. The app library now includes popular tools like iTerm and VLC, directly sourced from original vendors.
- Vulnerability Management Enhancements: Improved reporting identifies risky applications across devices and integrates with major SIEM platforms, giving IT and security teams unified visibility and easier remediation.
Smoother Admin Experience and Secure Device Connectivity
To improve platform navigation, Jamf introduced the App Switcher within Jamf Account. This feature allows administrators to move between apps more quickly, speeding up workflows and maintaining a consistent platform experience.
Additionally, Jamf plans to launch a network relay service soon. It will enable Macs and mobile devices to securely access essential services during onboarding without relying on traditional VPN or ZTNA tools. This feature ensures secure, controlled connectivity from day one.
