Jordanian Nursing Council and ZeeDimension sign agreement to host artificial intelligence in healthcare conference in October

The Jordanian Nursing Council signed a memorandum of understanding with software company ZeeDimension to organize an international conference on artificial intelligence in medicine, nursing, and digital health, scheduled for October 25-26 in Amman. The event will bring together local and international experts to accelerate the integration of AI into clinical practice and health system operations.

Jordan as a hub for healthcare AI

Council Secretary-General Hani Nawafleh said the conference reflects Jordan's role as a regional healthcare innovation hub. It will offer physicians, nurses, and decision-makers a global forum to discuss advances in early diagnosis, clinical decision support, and sustainable care models. The initiative supports the kingdom's broader digital transformation in health sciences and aims to raise the quality of medical and nursing services.

Accredited workshops and CPD programs

The agreement includes continuing professional development (CPD) programs and hands-on workshops designed to strengthen healthcare professionals' competencies. These sessions cover digital transformation, smart hospital development, data analytics, health education, clinical simulation, and digital risk management. The conference's focus on practical skills mirrors the hands-on approach found in AI for Healthcare training that translates directly into clinical settings.

From theory to practice

ZeeDimension Executive Director Ezzedine Hattab said the conference marks "a significant step in Jordan's healthcare digital transformation," with the core goal of moving AI technologies from theory into practical application to improve patient outcomes and develop medical systems. He emphasized that the event will promote the responsible use of AI by adopting explainable AI principles and keeping humans at the center of decision-making.

"The conference seeks to equip healthcare professionals with tools that accelerate decision-making and reduce their workloads," Hattab added. He said it will also strengthen ties between national institutions and international organizations, attracting global expertise to turn conference outcomes into long-term initiatives that support the healthcare sector and reinforce Jordan's position as a destination for health technology investment.

Why this matters for healthcare professionals

This conference offers clinicians and nurses direct access to accredited CPD programs and workshops that build practical AI skills, from data analytics to clinical simulation. Rather than a broad overview, the event is designed to deliver tools that can reduce workloads and improve decision-making at the bedside. For healthcare professionals in Jordan and the region, the two-day gathering is a chance to gain hands-on experience with AI applications that are being integrated into modern health systems, without having to travel abroad.
