The launch addresses a concrete problem: SMEs lose up to $273,000 annually through delayed responses, manual errors, and inability to handle customer inquiries outside business hours. Between 30% and 40% of prospect traffic arrives outside standard working hours, according to Leadsales data. Without automated response capability, these leads typically lose interest before the next business day.
How Lead Agent Works
Lead Agent differs from older chatbot systems that rely on decision trees and preprogrammed responses. Instead, sales managers define the strategic context-products, prices, terms, brand tone-and the AI handles interactions without predefined conversation scripts.
The system understands conversation history, identifies where a prospect sits in the buying process, and qualifies leads based on company criteria. Human salespeople intervene only when a transaction requires complex judgment or advanced personalization.

Meta prohibited general-purpose AI chatbots for commercial use on WhatsApp starting January 15, 2026. The restriction targeted generic automations that degraded the messaging experience.
