LiveRamp has opened a partner programme called LiveRamp Agent Builders that lets marketers use AI agents built by outside developers directly within the LiveRamp platform. The pilot scheme gives marketers access to third-party tools for planning, measurement, activation and data transformation - work that previously required separate systems or manual handoffs.
How the programme works
Partners use LiveRamp APIs and MCP servers to distribute their agents to the company's customer base. The arrangement reduces the friction of bringing third-party agents into the platform and makes them available alongside LiveRamp's own systems. Marketers can test and deploy different agents within a single operating environment rather than switching between tools.
"We're continuing to make it easier for partners to bring agents onto our platform, and with it, unlocking more selection and easier deployment for customers prioritizing value and returns," said Matt Karasick, Chief Product Officer at LiveRamp. "The closer we get to streamlining every priority marketers have on their agentic buying checklists, the faster we'll be able to help them drive value from agents, and tap the exponential potential these new tools drive."
The programme builds on LiveRamp's earlier move to offer AI-powered agents through its marketplace. Agent Builders goes a step further, creating a route for selected partners to place their products into customer workflows inside the LiveRamp environment.
Founding partners bring specialised tools
The initial group of founding partners includes four companies with products spanning analytics, audience work, data preparation and media optimisation.
SemantIQ focuses on health and life sciences marketing. Its software operates within the LiveRamp Clean Room to support audience building, analysis and activation using healthcare provider data. "AI agents have the potential to transform how healthcare marketing teams interact with complex media and claims data, but only if they operate within governed, auditable environments," said Manik Khanna, Co-founder and CEO of SemantIQ. "By deploying SemantIQ within the LiveRamp Clean Room, we're helping teams accelerate speed to insight and make better-informed decisions across audience creation, media analytics, planning, and optimization."
Newton Research brings analytics and media optimisation agents to LiveRamp users, including tools that work with Cross Media Intelligence to turn measurement outputs into operational decisions. Akkio offers a workflow that takes media teams from audience discovery through analysis, segment creation and activation without manual handoffs between stages. Datalinx handles first-party data preparation - including standardisation and taxonomy mapping - so customer data is ready for use across LiveRamp products quickly.
A distribution channel for AI marketing tools
The launch signals LiveRamp's intent to make its platform a distribution channel for specialised AI tools rather than relying solely on internally developed functions. For software partners, the programme provides access to LiveRamp's global customer base. For marketers, it offers a way to work with multiple agents in one place, particularly for tasks involving data collaboration, measurement and audience operations.
LiveRamp plans a limited release beyond the founding group as it expands the programme. The company is positioning the scheme around the practical deployment of agents in day-to-day marketing work.
Why this matters for marketing professionals
Agent Builders signals a shift in how marketing platforms treat third-party AI tools - moving from closed ecosystems toward environments where external agents plug directly into core workflows. For marketers, that means less time spent exporting data between systems and fewer manual steps connecting audience planning to activation. Understanding how to evaluate and work alongside these agents is becoming a practical skill.
