Mauritanian Engineer Builds Global Recruitment Infrastructure With $7 Million in Funding

Mouhidine Seiv, founder of HrFlow.ai, has secured $7 million in funding to expand his AI platform for recruitment globally. The startup processes millions of employment-related decisions through its systems and counts more than 1,000 clients including companies, HR platforms, and recruitment agencies.

Seiv trained in mathematics and artificial intelligence at École Normale Supérieure and École Centrale Paris. He founded HrFlow.ai in 2016 after two years of research in applied mathematics, initially launching the company as Riminder.net before rebranding as a full HR data infrastructure platform.

The Problem: Fragmented Job Markets

Seiv's core conviction emerged from his academic work: the global job market has become too complex and fragmented to manage efficiently without AI systems. Recruitment today involves distributed data, rapid industry shifts, and skills shortages that existing tools cannot address at scale.

HrFlow.ai positions itself as an API-first platform that structures, analyzes, and automates recruitment data. The company analyzes hundreds of millions of professional career paths to understand hiring patterns across industries.

The Vision: Hiring SuperIntelligence

Seiv describes his goal as building a "Hiring SuperIntelligence"-AI that enhances decision-making for recruiters and companies rather than replacing human judgment. The stated aim is to reduce structural inefficiencies that block access to employment globally.

The company says it aims to "solve unemployment, advance the labor market, and humanity" by using AI and recruitment data. This extends beyond individual hiring decisions to creating a foundational layer for the digital economy, similar to payment or cloud infrastructure.

U.S. Expansion Ahead

The $7 million funding round targets accelerated expansion into the U.S. market. HrFlow.ai plans to position itself as a central player in global AI-powered recruitment infrastructure.
