Meta launches AI tools for advertisers to build campaigns without coding

Meta has released AI connectors in open beta that let advertisers create, manage and analyze campaigns through external AI tools-no coding or API setup required. The tools connect ad accounts directly to AI agents, allowing teams to work within their existing platforms while accessing Meta's advertising data and functions.

The connectors come in two forms: an ads model context protocol (MCP) server and a command line interface (CLI). Both provide authenticated access between ad accounts and AI systems. Setup takes minutes and doesn't require developer credentials.

What the tools do

Advertisers can generate detailed campaign performance reports and create or edit ads, ad sets and campaigns using natural language commands. The tools also handle product catalog management-uploading data, creating catalogs and fixing feed issues.

A diagnostics feature shows signal quality and system health, helping teams identify setup problems to prioritize. The connectors provide access to campaign data, audience insights and product information.

Where they fit in Meta's product line

These connectors complement Meta's existing AI business assistant inside Ads Manager. That tool offers campaign recommendations and troubleshooting within Meta's platform. The new connectors target advertisers using external AI systems for cross-channel insights and workflow management.

Meta positioned the release as part of a broader effort to integrate AI for Marketing into advertising workflows across businesses and agencies of different sizes.

The practical angle for managers

For teams managing multiple campaigns or agencies handling client accounts, the connectors reduce manual work. Natural language commands mean non-technical staff can operate them. Integration with existing AI Agents & Automation tools means less switching between platforms.

The beta status means features may change before full release. Meta hasn't announced pricing or a general availability date.
