Mission North has launched a Physical Industries practice to serve companies applying AI across commerce, manufacturing, mobility, and aerospace and defense. The move formalizes years of existing client work in robotics, autonomous manufacturing, and operational technology at a time when AI-driven physical systems are attracting significant investment and regulatory attention.
Practice leadership and client roster
Executive VP Melinda Ball and VP Eric Stephens will lead the practice under co-CEO Bill Bourdon. Current and former clients include Apptronik, Axon, Instacart, Google, Simbe Robotics, and Verkada - spanning retail, logistics, public safety, and transportation.
The practice covers a broad set of sectors where software and hardware converge. Robotics, autonomous manufacturing, and mobility sit alongside aerospace and defense work. For communications professionals, the launch signals growing demand for messaging that bridges technical engineering audiences with policy, investor, and consumer stakeholders.
Highwire tracks brand visibility inside AI platforms
Highwire has released AcroAnswers, a proprietary platform that monitors how brands appear across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity. The tool tracks more than 267 prompts and 30,000 AI responses per brand each month, measuring visibility, prevalence, perception, and topic adjacency.
Highwire said the findings can directly inform earned, owned, social, and paid media strategy. As generative answer engines reshape how consumers and buyers find information, PR teams face pressure to understand brand positioning inside these platforms - not just on traditional search results pages. Professionals building skills in this area often look to AI for PR Courses to track how model outputs affect reputation.
Woke Media joins NPR Worldwide network
Woke Media has become the U.S. partner for NPR Worldwide, a communications network created by South Korea-based NPR Intercommunication. The network connects agencies across 10 markets in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Woke Media, which opened a European headquarters in Barcelona in 2025, will collaborate with network partners on brands expanding into Western markets. The arrangement gives clients coordinated cross-market communications support without requiring separate agency relationships in each region.
Reputation Advisors International adds Brazil expertise
Reputation Advisors International has added Thiago Vitale, CEO of Brazil-based Torre Comunicação e Estratégia, to its global network of senior communications professionals. Vitale brings more than 23 years of corporate communications, marketing, and strategy experience.
His background includes roles with the Brazilian Construction Industry Chamber and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, where his work covered communications around the 2014 World Cup and Brazil's presence at the COP15 climate summit. The appointment expands the network's capacity to advise clients on Latin American stakeholder dynamics and government-adjacent communications.
Why this matters for marketing and communications professionals
Three of the four announcements share a common thread: the physical and digital worlds are colliding, and communications strategy is scrambling to keep pace. Mission North's practice reflects client demand for explaining AI that operates forklifts, not just chatbots. Highwire's AcroAnswers platform addresses the reality that brand reputation is now shaped inside models most comms teams don't monitor. For practitioners, the gap between traditional media measurement and AI-era visibility is widening - and the agencies building tools and practices to close it are betting that gap represents revenue.
