MOVA Takes Top Spot in Global Robotic Lawn Mower Market
MOVA has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan as the world's leading seller of AI-powered robotic lawn mowers by sales volume for the period from April 2025 to March 2026. The company shipped 300,000 cumulative units globally as of March 2026 and holds a 25% market share in major European markets.
The recognition reflects growing adoption of AI dual-vision technology in residential lawn care. MOVA's ViAX Series uses two Ultra-HDR cameras and advanced algorithms to detect obstacles, map yards automatically, and navigate without relying on satellite signals-a meaningful advantage in areas under trees or near building overhangs where GPS fails.
What the Technology Does
The ViAX Series detects more than 300 types of obstacles in real time while mowing. Its UltraEyes™ 1.0 system offers a detection range of up to 50 meters and a 120° × 70° field of view, allowing the mower to distinguish lawn from non-lawn areas and plan precise paths.
For households with pets, MOVA built Animal Friendly Mode into the system. The feature includes low-speed safety settings, customizable activity zones, and quiet periods to reduce disturbance.
The mower also includes TrueGuard™, a real-time video monitoring system with yard patrol capabilities and human detection alerts. The system holds TÜV Rheinland certification for data protection.
Market Performance
The ViAX Series topped Amazon Best Sellers rankings across Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain. MOVA's rapid growth in the segment reflects a shift toward vision-based systems that handle real-world yard complexity-pets, children, garden items, and variable signal conditions-rather than relying solely on GPS and perimeter wires.
For sales professionals, MOVA's market leadership and product specifications provide concrete talking points when discussing AI for Sales applications and how AI-driven product features drive customer adoption and competitive advantage.
