Nectar Social Raises $30 Million to Automate Marketing Operations Across Social Platforms

Nectar Social, an AI-powered marketing platform, raised $30 million in Series A funding led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology Fund-a partnership with Anthropic. The round also included investors GV, True Ventures, and Kinship Ventures.

The company builds what it calls an "agentic operating system" for marketers. Autonomous AI agents handle social engagement, content moderation, creator workflows, commerce conversations, and competitive intelligence across multiple channels from a single dashboard.

Nectar Social was founded by sisters Misbah and Farah Uraizee, both former Meta employees. Misbah Uraizee, the CEO, said the company will use the funding to expand its AI capabilities, engineering operations, and sales teams as demand for AI-driven marketing tools grows globally.

Data Partnerships Reduce Tool Fragmentation

The platform has established data partnerships with Meta and Reddit, allowing its AI agents to aggregate and analyze marketing data from multiple social networks in one place. This reduces the need for brands to switch between separate tools for different platforms.

Nectar Social already counts Figma, Liquid Death, and e.l.f. Beauty as customers.

Why Brands Are Adopting This Approach

Customer conversations now happen across fragmented social and commerce ecosystems. No human team can staff every interaction point where brands engage with customers online, Uraizee said.

The funding reflects broader investor interest in AI agents and automation for enterprise software. Startups building autonomous systems for sales, marketing, customer support, and operations are attracting significant capital as companies look to reduce manual work and improve productivity.

For marketers managing multiple platforms, the shift toward AI for marketing represents a practical response to operational complexity rather than a speculative technology bet.
