Nectar Social Raises $30M for AI-Powered Social Marketing Platform

Nectar Social closed a $30 million Series A round led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology Fund, a partnership with Anthropic. True Ventures, GV (Google Ventures), and Kinship Ventures also invested.

The company, founded in 2023 by sisters Misbah and Farah Uraizee, builds software that unifies social intelligence, community management, creator workflows, and conversational commerce. Both founders previously worked at Meta-Farah scaled Facebook Groups to over one billion users, while Misbah led product for News Feed and Creator Monetization.

What Nectar Does

Nectar processes more than 10 million conversations per week across social channels. The platform holds official data partnerships with Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, and X.

The company is launching Nectar Agent, an autonomous AI system that operates across brand conversations in real time. Brand teams retain control over voice, strategy, and approvals-the agent flags issues and acts on decisions already made.

Farah Uraizee said in a statement: "Social media moves faster than any team can, and marketers are drowning or arriving too late. The only way to keep up is through AI that understands every story, video, or message and acts and flags in real time, with your brand's judgment built in."

Early Results

Nectar reports processing conversations that have generated $100 million in attributed revenue and engaged over 50 million consumers. The company's conversation volume has grown fivefold in the past three months.

e.l.f. Beauty, using Nectar, lifted response rates by 60% and established a direct connection from social conversations to revenue, according to Ekta Chopra, the brand's Chief Technology and AI Officer.

What's Next

Nectar plans to expand its engineering and applied AI teams across the Bay Area and New York. The company will also deepen partnerships with social platforms and extend Nectar Agent into additional brand marketing categories.

Amy Wu Martin, Partner at Menlo Ventures, joined Nectar's board.

For marketing professionals managing multiple social channels, understanding AI for Marketing tools and approaches is increasingly relevant to how teams operate at scale.
