Ogilvy India Launches Internal AI Studio to Speed Creative Production
Ogilvy India and Google have built an internal AI Creative Studio designed to help the agency's creative teams produce branded still and video assets faster while maintaining control over IP and brand guidelines.
The studio functions as a tool for art directors, copywriters, and designers rather than a replacement for them. It accelerates the move from initial concept to finished asset by handling visualization work, freeing creatives to focus on strategy and storytelling.
What the Studio Does
The platform generates social media assets tailored to specific audience groups, produces concept cards at speed, and creates visual narratives that stay within brand parameters. Early pilots showed creative teams could reduce concept-to-asset timelines significantly.
The interface is designed to be straightforward. Teams access generative AI capabilities without requiring technical expertise.
Why This Matters for Creatives
The studio addresses a real constraint in creative work: the time spent moving from idea to visual execution. By automating that middle step, creatives spend less time on production and more on the thinking that clients actually pay for.
The system also enables hyper-personalization at scale. A single campaign can generate multiple visual variations for different audience segments-work that would typically require separate design sprints.
VR Rajesh, Group Chief Executive Officer at Ogilvy India, said the studio gives teams "speed and agility to scale brilliant ideas securely" while letting them "push the boundaries of modern storytelling."
Satya Raghavan, Director of Marketing Partners at Google, described the effort as combining Google's generative AI technology with Ogilvy's creative expertise to enable "secure, scalable and distinctly human storytelling."
