Academy Awards Updates Rules on International Films and AI Use
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has expanded eligibility requirements for international films and established new guidelines governing artificial intelligence in film production.
Academy president Lynette Howell Taylor said the organization made the changes to reflect how filmmaking has evolved. "Humans have to be at the center of the creative process," Taylor said.
