Impact agents start with a specific business goal-boosting conversion rates, increasing visibility, or launching a new website-then analyze brand data and competitor activity to generate ideas. The agents simulate and predict the impact of each idea before implementation.

Parham Aarabi, Pre's founder and chief executive officer, said the agents function like a digital marketing team running 24/7. While a human marketer tests one idea, an impact agent tests 10,000 variations and identifies optimizations in the process.

Personalization Agents Gather Customer Intelligence

Personalization agents answer customer questions at any point in the shopping journey-on homepages, product pages, or during checkout. They collect data on the questions customers ask, the language they use, and how they engage with conversational AI.

Brands gain insight into customer intent and messaging preferences. A customer asking about sensitive skin products, for example, could trigger a complete page redesign tailored to their needs. The more customer interactions occur, the more refined the personalization becomes.

Roc Skincare Results Show Market Share Gains

Roc Skincare deployed Pre's personalization agents across all product and routine pages. Over three months, Roc's website traffic-which feeds into ChatGPT's training data-increased by 1,160 percent.

Roc's market share in the antiaging skincare category on ChatGPT rose 75 percent. The brand moved from the sixth most-recommended retinol product to the number-one position on ChatGPT, and holds the top spot for eye creams in the same category.

Aarabi noted that the agents continue optimizing Roc's visibility and market share around the clock, testing new strategies beyond the initial 75 percent gain.
