Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education Adopts Google’s Advanced AI for Smarter Learning
Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education (QF-PUE) program, dedicated to equipping students with essential skills in English, math, science, and computer studies, has integrated Google Cloud AI’s latest technology, Google Gemini for Education. This integration aims to improve both teaching methods and student engagement.
The announcement was made during the Google Cloud Summit held on May 29, 2025, at the Qatar National Convention Center in Doha. The event highlighted emerging trends in AI, cloud data, and security, providing an ideal platform to showcase this collaboration.
Collaboration with Advanced Business Computing
QF-PUE partnered with Advanced Business Computing W.L.L (ABC), a leading IT provider in Qatar and a Google for Education partner since 2022, to implement Google Gemini for Education across their academic and operational systems. This collaboration is enhancing how education is delivered, creating a more interactive and personalized learning environment.
ABC also deployed Agentspace, an AI-driven platform, to streamline internal workflows and boost administrative cooperation. Together, these technologies allow educators to reduce administrative burdens and focus more on student development and strategic objectives.
Transforming Education with AI
The integration of Google Gemini for Education represents a meaningful step toward modernizing Qatar’s education infrastructure. The platform supports teachers by offering tools that facilitate interactive learning and tailored student experiences, helping to maximize teaching effectiveness.
According to Precedence Research, the global AI in education market was valued at USD 5.18 billion in 2024 and is expected to grow to USD 7.05 billion by 2025. Projections show it could reach USD 112.30 billion by 2034, reflecting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 36.02% between 2025 and 2034. This growth underscores the increasing role of AI in academic settings worldwide.
