Rejolt launched Event Intelligence on September 15 at the IFTM trade fair in Paris, a platform that deploys AI agents to manage the full corporate event chain from sourcing to VAT recovery. The French MICE specialist is betting that automation can handle the operational complexity that kicks in after a venue is booked - approvals, negotiations, payments, and guest management - areas where most event tech has so far stayed silent.
Beyond the venue search
The platform arrives at a moment when much of the MICE technology market has centered on sourcing venues and suppliers. Rejolt's leadership argues that the real friction lives elsewhere. "In recent years, the market has focused mainly on searching for venues and service providers. However, the real complexity begins after sourcing," the company's directors said. They point to the tangled web of exchanges between organisers, decision-makers, procurement teams, and finance departments that defines most corporate events.
Rejolt had already expanded from its origins in business meal management to full event organisation. Event Intelligence extends that trajectory further, applying AI agents to drive each stage forward rather than simply tracking progress.
How the AI agents work
An organiser describes their event needs and vision. The platform's Event Composer structures the brief, while Smart Sourcing generates contextualised recommendations in real time. The organiser then compares, adjusts, and selects. "The platform no longer just tracks the event: it drives it forward," the project leaders said.
They stress that the system is not a dressed-up catalogue or a marketplace chatbot. The AI agents activate service providers, coordinate approvals from decision-makers, and manage validations on the supplier side. They apply the company's purchasing rules automatically and push the file through to the guest experience phase. The platform was designed and is hosted in France, a deliberate choice aimed at meeting the security, traceability, and data control requirements of large enterprise accounts - a contrast to competitors who have integrated solutions built outside Europe.
The agentic argument for MICE
Mickaël Hadjadj, founder of Rejolt, framed the reasoning bluntly: "MICE has all the characteristics of an agentic industry: a firm date, a multitude of stakeholders to synchronise, dozens of approvals, compliance and CSR constraints, and, at the other end of the chain, the experience of sometimes several thousand participants. There is no room for error."
In that environment, he said, AI agents are not a comfort layer. "They become active control points: they verify, alert and drive forward every stage to make event organisation more reliable, smoother and more efficient."
