Ridgeline Embeds Real-Time Market News Into Investment Management Platform
Ridgeline released Ridgeline Market Intelligence on April 29, a feature that brings real-time market news and analysis directly into its investment management platform. The capability lets investment firms access current market conditions, sector analysis, and security-specific news without switching between systems.
The new feature appears in dashboards and client-specific views alongside portfolio data, trading activity, and assets under management. Users can skim a curated market digest or click through for deeper analysis before speaking with clients about market conditions.
Reducing Friction in Daily Workflows
Investment managers spend time moving between their core platform and external news sources to answer client questions or prepare for meetings. Ridgeline Market Intelligence removes that friction by placing relevant market context where managers already work.
The feature is powered by Pebble, an AI market intelligence company. Ridgeline built the capability in one month using AI agents and automation tools internally, according to CEO Dave Blair.
"Embedding relevant market intelligence into the system of record changes how firms consume and act on information," said Ali Stewart, VP of Product Strategy at Ridgeline.
Part of a Broader AI Strategy
Ridgeline positions this release as one component of its AI for Executives & Strategy approach. The platform already includes workflow-specific AI agents and a universal AI assistant designed to help managers automate routine tasks and make decisions faster.
The company says consolidating investment workflows, client data, and market intelligence on one system gives firms a more complete operational view than managing separate tools.
Ridgeline Market Intelligence rolled out to all customers this week.
