SalesCloser Wins U.S. Patent for AI Sales Workflow Technology

SalesCloser Technologies secured a U.S. patent for its conversational AI system that lets sales teams build automated workflows without coding. The AI for Sales platform, which already generates revenue, now has formal intellectual property protection for its core technology.

Patent No. US12526253B1 covers the company's graph-based conversational-flow editing system. The technology translates business requirements into AI agents through a natural language interface, complete with visual workflow rendering and built-in testing capabilities.

What This Means for Sales Teams

SalesCloser's platform handles a practical problem: most AI tools require technical expertise to deploy. The patented system lets non-technical sales professionals interact with an embedded AI assistant that creates conversational agents in real time.

The platform handles lead qualification, product demonstrations, follow-ups, and meeting scheduling across voice, video, and digital channels. It integrates with existing CRM systems and supports multiple languages.

Building a Patent Portfolio Around Execution

This is the first granted patent from SalesCloser's nine pending U.S. patent applications. The company's IP strategy focuses on protecting actual infrastructure rather than abstract concepts.

The remaining applications cover specific technical challenges: real-time state management, autonomous handoffs to human agents, self-testing systems, and advanced telephony features. Each patent addresses problems the engineering team solved while building a platform capable of handling thousands of simultaneous conversations.

CEO Ali Tajskandar said the patent validates the company's approach. "The real barrier to AI adoption was not the underlying technology - it was accessibility," he said. "We built a system that puts the power of AI directly in the hands of sales professionals."

The Business Model

SalesCloser operates on a subscription basis, generating recurring revenue with high gross margins. The Vancouver-based company trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under ticker SCAI.

The company also issued 144,257 common shares to Green Times Consulting Ltd. at $1.018 per share as payment for consulting services provided in April 2026.

For sales professionals looking to understand how AI Agents & Automation work in practice, SalesCloser's approach demonstrates the shift toward making these tools accessible without technical backgrounds.
