Synup Launches MCP Server to Connect AI Agents Directly to Marketing Tools

Synup announced the launch of Synup MCP, a Model Context Protocol server that lets marketing agencies plug AI agents into the company's local marketing platform without custom development work.

The server works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and thousands of developer tools. Agencies can now build AI-powered workflows that manage listings, respond to reviews, publish social content, and track local search performance through a single standardized protocol.

What the MCP Server Does

Synup MCP exposes the full Synup platform as a set of tools that any MCP-compatible AI agent can discover and act on. It works regardless of which AI model an agency uses.

Agencies can use it to:

  • Manage listings across major publishers and flag when they drift out of sync
  • Monitor incoming reviews, draft on-brand responses, and escalate negative sentiment automatically
  • Write, queue, and publish social content across platforms for multiple client accounts
  • Pull local SEO data and share-of-voice metrics to flag optimization opportunities
  • Access client health data and churn risk indicators to trigger growth workflows
  • Run all workflows under the agency's own brand through Synup's white-label framework

Why This Matters

The marketing agency industry is valued at $18 billion annually, with over 50,000 agencies serving small businesses. Many have adopted AI for individual tasks like content writing or social scheduling, but connecting those tasks into multi-step workflows that run without constant oversight has remained out of reach for most teams.

"Agencies shouldn't need a dev team to take advantage of AI," said Roshan Agarkar, VP of Product at Synup. "The MCP standard takes the integration headache off the table. Bring your own AI tool. Connect it to Synup. Start automating the same day."

Agencies with technical teams can build custom reputation management bots, fully autonomous local SEO pipelines, and other specialized workflows.
