Denver Contractor Launches AI Platform, Expands to 53 Metro Markets
Terrapin Construction Group announced three operational milestones: nationwide service across 53 major metropolitan markets, over 1 million square feet of insulated metal panel installations completed, and the launch of TCG.ai, a proprietary platform for construction estimating and project management.
The Denver-based general contractor, licensed in all 50 states, self-performs insulated metal panel installation, metal building erection, roofing, and flooring work. It combines these trades with in-house architecture and engineering to deliver design-build projects in the $1 million to $30 million range.
What TCG.ai Does
TCG.ai compresses preliminary cost estimation from two to four weeks to under two minutes. The platform includes an instant construction estimator for any commercial project type and a plan-upload tool for insulated metal panel pricing in three tiers: $14, $20, and $26 per square foot.
The system also handles document extraction, bid review, schedule sequencing, and submittal coordination. TCG built the platform in-house rather than licensing third-party software.
William C Goodin, VP of Project Development, said the firm designed TCG.ai to let a small team operate at the throughput of a much larger organization. "Lean expert teams outperform bloated organizations on speed, quality, and cost," he said.

TCG operates in 53 U.S. metros including Denver, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles, New York City, Dallas, San Francisco, and Boston. The firm has installed over 1 million square feet of insulated metal panels across 38 states for cold storage, food processing, cannabis cultivation, data centers, and pharmaceutical facilities.
The contractor holds certified installer status with PermaTherm, Kingspan, Arch Solar, Metl-Span, CENTRIA, AWIP, MBCI, FALK, and UPI Panels. It maintains direct relationships with manufacturers for supply and installation.
Broker Partnership Program
TCG launched a Commercial Real Estate Broker Partner Program offering same-day budget validation, feasibility reviews, and white-labeled construction cost narratives. The program targets commercial real estate agents, tenant representatives, investment sales brokers, and developer representatives.
Partners gain direct access to TCG's installation, roofing, flooring, and design-build teams.
